"All About That Bass" is the debut single by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor. It was released on June 30, 2014 as the lead single from her debut extended play (EP), Title (2014), and unreleased debut studio album Title (2015). The song was co-written by Trainor and Kevin Kadish, and produced by Kadish. Trainor and Kadish's body image issues during adolescence served as the inspiration for the song; it was also influenced by the songs "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars and "Lollipop" by The Chordettes.
